The Concert in the Orchard - Programme 2010

The following is the programme for the Concert in the Orchard, 4pm Saturday 23rd January 2010.

Gates open at 3pm - parking available on site. Traffic arriving generally causes significant congestion on Settlement Road so please follow the directions of the traffic marshallers.

3:45 to 4:50 - Anna Hawkins

Anna Hawkins is a young and vibrant mezzo soprano from the Waikato region of New Zealand. Her music ranges from floating light Opera to easy listening jazz, but she also has the ability to sing upbeat swing and old time favourites. She has been very popular with past concert audiences.

You may have seen Anna recently performing on NZ’s hit show "Stars in their Eyes".

Steve Larkins is a professional musician on the New Zealand Music scene for over 25 years. In that time, he has played keyboards and sung with Dave Dobbyn, When the Cat's Away, Dave McCartney, Ardijah, Midge Marsden, Ray Colombus, Tom Sharplin, Suzanne Donaldson, Larry Morris.

His repertoire, dynamic stage performance and his 'one on one' delivery to members of the audience, makes his 'Mercury Rising' a night of rock and laughter, not to be missed, and ... guaranteed to blow your mind!
