Lyrica promo1Four of New Zealand's finest singers, performing the world's most beloved songs, in arrangements devised especially for their unique talents - to sweep away audiences at any event. Be it a corporate function, award show, sporting event or concert, Lyrica creates a pillar of entertainment.

Justine

justineIs there any kind of entertainment Justine hasn't done? She started with both leading and backing vocals for the renowned-show band The Sound Workshop; she's performed cabaret acts locally and overseas for Tornado Management; and toured the country with the hugely successful tribute show The Chain - The Fleetwood Mac Experience, where she captivated sold-out theatres with her rendering of Christine McVie. She has performed in Les Misérables and Joseph, and reviewers raved about her as both Jellylorum and Griddlebone in Webber's CATS. Add to all this her musical training under not only Lyrica's own esteemed Loretta Wilkinson, but also renowned vocal coach Pamela Wallace, and you can see why we had to have her.

Reece

reeceHandel's Messiah; Stainer's Crucifixion; Mozart's Mass in C Minor; Rossini's Petite Mass - these were just the beginning of Reece's performance career. While obtaining his Bachelor of Music from Waikato University, he played a lead role, written specifically for him, in the world première of David Griffith's The White Lady. New Zealand could no longer contain him after this, so he moved to the UK to study with the celebrated Margaret Lobo at the Okatar Kraus Music Trust. While there, he made his début in London as Uriel in Hayden's Creation, performed with Opera Unlimited, and reminded everyone of his origins by singing New Zealand's anthem at international sporting events. After returning to New Zealand, he played Marius in Les Misérables before taking a position as singing teacher at St Peter's School in Cambridge. Finally, he helped establish Lyrica.

Loretta

lorettaLyrica promo2Loretta has so many achievements to her name that we can't list them all - they'd go over our word limit. She majored in Voice at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Australia, and trained further with the Okatar Kraus Music Trust in London. She's performed as Rose in a New Zealand tour of The Secret Garden, and as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera in both Japan and England. She was the resident soprano soloist with Opera Unlimited in London, where her roles included Gilda, Susannah, and Tatiana; she also sang oratorio and concerts throughout the south east of England, and recorded with the BBC for their Last Day of Pompeii. In 2004, she was invited to Boston and Worcester in the USA, to perform contemporary classical music with award-winning composer Joseph Summer. To top things off, she has been a featured soloist at various high-profile New Zealand events, like Showtime and the Starlight Symphony at the Auckland Domain, Classical Spectacular at the North Habour Stadium, and Lakeside in Rotorua.

Bevan

bevanA master of genres, thanks to his versatile voice and remarkable range, along with a chameleon-like acting ability. Bevan's international résumé includes musicals, improvised theatre, comedy, and light opera; and he's appeared in over 20 major stage productions (plus more concerts and entertainment events than we can count). He's played Marius in Les Misérables, Danny Zuko in Grease, and Skye Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He has studied with renowned voice teacher Janice Webb, and acclaimed tenor Oliver White - the latter in between gallivanting around the UK as a lead vocalist in production and pantomime shows, and appearing as John Brook in Little Women at London's West End's Bloomsbury Theatre.
