Following two years of nightclub and hotel gigs London was in his sights and shortly after arriving there he was signed to the “Marquee Organisation”. Extensive touring and major festivals followed which established him as an in demand guitarist in the 70’s English rock scene.

After working as a ships musician for 18 months in the Mediterranean, a long period on the European Continent followed. Based in Munich, Germany, his session career began in 1978 and took him back to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Italy and many other countries. Billy has played on over 130 albums and 400 singles.

Classical , Latin Jazz, Pop, Rock and Blues styles make Billy an extremely versatile musician. He has made several contributions to “Boney M” including their hit “Marys Boy Child” on which he played all the guitar work. He has also played with with the likes of Renee Geyer, Johnny Farnham, John Paul Young, Don Burrows, James Morrison, Tommy Tycho, Roseanne Cash, Cilla Black, Passport, Jeff Berlin, The Munich Philharmonic, The Tokyo Symphony, The Auckland Philharmonic and many more.

Billy features on the title track of Joe Cockers album “ Its No Ordinary World “ recorded in London in 2000. His Latin Jazz/Flamenco show highlights the influence the European Continent had on his playing and his recent CD “THE MATADOR” has received great reviews and shows off Billy’s masterful technique and knowledge of the Classical/Flamenco Nylon String Guita. Billy is in great demand as a session player throughout Australasia and Europe to this day.

Tony McLaughlin began his singing career in the early 70's fronting cult Christchurch Band "Nightmusique" and was a regular on TVNZ's radio with pictures. Following a support act for Seals & Croft Tony moved to Europe where he performed in Geneva, London & Munich. Having recently moved back to New Zealand, Tony became a regular performer at Toast Martinborough alongside the Rodger Fox band, Ray Wolf, Erna Ferry and Kevin Downing. A versatile singer he is comfortable with all muscial genre such as Jazz, Blues , Rock and R&B.
